Back2Eden Natural Bath & Body, LLC

Soap Challenge DNA Helix Swirl

This is my second Soap Challenge and
I am loving every minute of it!!!
Thank You Amy!

The colors I chose were Hollywood Pink, Apple Green,
Yellow and Black Oxide.

One challenge I found with this was the more colors you use it can become a little confusing when you're trying to line your colors up. I used a tried and true cold process recipe that gave me adequate time to work with my five colors. I did try a new fragrance in which I call "Citrus Sunshine" so I was not sure how it would react so I added it right before placing my batch in the mold.

I am already looking forward to next months challenge!!!

  1. So, so pretty!! Love how the black just outlines each color - really makes it pop! I don't think it really matters if you get the colors "in order" with this one. They all just swirl together in the most amazing patterns anyway! :)

    1. Thanks Amy and you're right having the colors in a certain order really does not matter. I just wanted to ensure that you would still be able to see the definition of each color in the final product. And that it did not end up looking like one big blob. I'm excited to see what the next challenge will be.
